How Bagasse is made?

Bagasse is the fibrous material that remains after the sugarcane is processed. In general, for every ton of sugar produced you'll get two tons of sugarcane pulp called Bagasse.

After the sugarcane is processed for the application, the leftover fibrous material is taken to the Bagasse plant to process it further and make Bagasse products.

 

What is bagasse packaging?

Earlier, the leftover pulp was discarded or used as fuel. Today, bagasse is being used as food packaging.

You'll find a wide range of disposables and food packaging products made from bagasse.
