Juices have the life of 24-48 hours in the fridge and should be consumed within 1-2 hours if not going to be refrigerated which makes packaging of juices very important. Juices might need packaging for deliveries or supermarkets. For the longer period, it is preferred the container used to store the juices prevents oxygen from getting in which can deplete the nutrients.
Types of Juice Packaging
1. Glass Bottles - Glass is chemically inert and is the preferred storage option for the juices.
2. Pouches - Aluminium and plastic pouches are used to store juices for the longer period and to be sold in the supermarkets
3. Paper/Plastic Cups - Paper cups are used to deliver juices. Usual packing style is covering paper cup with aluminium foil and applying tape around it.
